Two former Student Union Government (SUG) leaders of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Lifted Oyinbo Edubamoh and Igoh Ayano Christopher, have filed lawsuits against the management of the institution and Nigeria Police Force at the Edo State High Court over their alleged unlawful arrest and detention following the January 2026 Ekpoma insecurity protest.
