Key Responsibilities
The Accounting Officer will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance & reconciliation.
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensuring strict compliance with statutory legislation and financial regulations.
- Conducting detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making.
- Coordinating with internal and external auditors during the financial audit process.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting.
- Certification: A professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA will be a distinct advantage.
- Age Requirement: Candidates within the preferred age range of 30 – 40 years will be considered.
